SPG™ Natural Supposi-Base

SPG™ Natural Supposi-Base

Same versatility and function as SPG™ Supposi-Base, now 100% natural. SPG™ Natural Supposi-Base is a fatty acid suppository base composed of Hard Fat, USP of strictly vegetable origin (not tested on animals). Available in droplet-like pellets that are easy to weigh and melt, combined with excellent mold release, this base is an efficient option that saves compounders time. Its wide compatibility profile, suitability for both vaginal and rectal routes, and body temperature melting point provide compounders great versatility. Its physicochemical properties are ideal, capable of providing excellent drug delivery for both solid and liquid APIs, across a range of water solubility. Of further convenience, SPG™ Natural Supposi-Base has a water activity of less than 0.6, providing compounders with longer default beyond-use dates as per USP and NAPRA guidelines.
